- Houston is 30 minutes away with everything Houston has to offer - the Galleria, Museum District, Opera, Ballet and Theater.
- Horse Shopping
- The Gift Horse - straight down 99 and you'll end up at the Gift Horse. They also set up a booth at our Horse Trials. About 40 minutes.
- Charlottes is just down I10 towards downtown Houston on the right side. They offer a great selection of tack and horse gift items. About 20 minutes.
- Stateline Tack : the closest tack store to the barn. It is located in the Petsmart at I10 and Fry road. Best thing about it is it is open until 9:00 pm. About 10 minutes.
- Regular shopping
- Katy Mills Outlet Mall: this mall opened up about two years ago and now we can't recall life without it. There are a bunch of restaurants and its a great way to cool out in the air conditioning. You're always likely to find a good deal here.
- Walmart - there is a Walmart on Fry Road and I10 and a Sams Club has also just opened up there. They are on the north side of I10.
- Eating: ok one of our favorite pastimes!
